What is the Game Master?

The Game Master is a file the game downloads to your phone. It contains most of the information the game needs to understand in order to work. For example the moves a Pokémon can learn, Pokémon base stats, game mechanics and much more.

What does this Explorer do?

The Explorer gives you the ability to search for information inside the most recent version of the Game Master. The Game Master is not human readable by default, so the Explorer does the heavy lifting for you to make it easy to browse.

How do I use the Explorer?

There are two modes you can use: Simple or Advanced. Using Simple, you can quickly search for the most common game items (like Pokémon) and receive tailored output of the relevant information. You can narrow your search down by the category buttons.

Using Advanced, you can browse and search the Game Master directly. As the Game Master is very long, there are shortcut buttons to help narrow it down to just the selected information.

You can use the search to search your currently selected categories. You can enter multiple search terms to show elements that include at least one of the keywords.

The entire template is displayed for your search term. For example searching for GRASS will display the entire Bulbasaur entry.

Each active search keyword will appear next to the search bar. To remove one, just click the 'X'.

Loading the full Game Master can be quite intensive and some phones may not be able to handle it.
